We begin by mapping what you already know and what you want your money to do for you. You will be mentored by a certified investment specialist who a) does not want to sell you anything else and b) does not work under commissions. Our mission is to teach you how to invest on your own. Here is what we cover along five to ten sessions, depending on the plan you choose.

From day one, we will be working with easy-to-follow educational material and show you how it all looks in the trading platform where you will open your brokerage account. We walk through every screen together. We explain what each thing means and why it matters.

Stocks are just the start. We don't teach you about the "stock market", we teach you about the "securities market", which means the investing vehicles go way beyond stocks. We cover ETFs, bonds, index funds, money-market instruments, mutual funds and REITs in plain language. Remember, we do the translating.

Managing your account

We make sure you feel comfortable navigating the trading platform. We teach you order types, charts basics, how to read a quote and the mechanics on your interface. We turn it into familiar territory.

YOUR FIRST INVESTMENT

Making your first real investment, together

Side by side in a live session, you place the order yourself. We are there if a question comes up, but the action is yours. That is the whole point — you leave knowing you can do it again on your own. And no one else manages your money for you.

Your money never leaves your hands — not once.

We are a teaching service, not a management firm. We have no access to your account, no authority over your funds, and no interest in keeping you dependent. The goal is for you to not need us.

Do I need any experience?

Will you pick my investments?

No. We explain your options clearly so you can choose based on your own criteria. Every decision is yours — that is the point of the whole program. We are like the training wheels on a bicycle.

None at all. The first session assumes zero prior knowledge. If you know what a stock is, that is already enough to begin. We will clarify all myths and half truths.

We have three plans. Most clients prefer the full plan (advanced). It takes five to ten weeks depending on the plan you choose. They are detailed in the Services section.
